Have you heard that there is an incredibly amazing family focussed Farm Park in Dorset that everyone is raving about?
The team at Farmer Palmers totally get that your ‘mini me’s’ are the most important human beings in your world. So, imagine going somewhere that guarantees the opportunity to make family memories that your children are going to want to talk about until they can come back again!
Owned and run by the Palmer Family, Sandra and brother Phillip are agile in the running of the attraction.
Each year they look at social and environmental investment and new attractions for the park – talking of which recently, and most notably, ‘The World of Dinosaur Roar’ has arrived in the woodland. A spectacular and educational Discovery Trail of six brightly coloured dinosaurs from over 66-million years ago. This is in collaboration with the Natural History Museum and Nurture Rights delivers visualising learning and the WOW factor!
Interacting with your children helps you get back in touch with your inner child and the Farmer Palmer’s team knows that sliding down a slide, peddling into action on the go-karts and sharing life skills bring everyone together! Nothing is too much trouble!
If you love animals or getting back to nature, a visit to Farmer Palmers gives you the perfect opportunity to indulge your passion for interacting with cute furry animals! From guinea pigs to ponies, sheep, and cows, it’s all happening down on the farm. Join in feeding, stroking, and even try a little Dr. Doolittle chatting, it’s great for the kid’s emotional well-being – and that’s your kids rather than the goats – although we know they love the company too!
We think that Farmer Palmer’s assists everyone’s emotional well-being frankly, and we love visiting and meeting the little mammals and feeding the lambs and goat’s kids. It’s a real experience – a million miles (or 66 million years as we’ve read earlier) away from other artificial entertainment that’s on offer!
There is a furry or feathery friend around every corner and colourful models, energetic bouncy castles, mini tractors, and go-carts to engage. Everyone can recharge with a drink and fresh cake or burger in the Hen House before another scamper around the park or a tractor ride! The hard-working catering team serves homemade food, freshly made every day. Allergies are catered for; gluten-free and dairy-free cakes are delicious. Vegetarian and vegan items that are traditional and yummy. Rest assured their 5-star food hygiene rating reflects their pride in what they do!
Hand on heart, their 70-strong team is Dorset’s wonderful discovery. They understand the needs of grown-ups with little VIPs and are dedicated to your day out. Yes, the happiest, helpful and friendliest Farm Park people in Dorset, who care, want to help, and entertain you. This is customer service that everyone can be proud of. Farmer Palmers kept 98% of their team together from pre-covid, a huge achievement and a testimony to their loyalty. A real family working together, for your family!
So, what does this mean to you. Farmer Palmers Farm Park is the jewel in Dorset’s Days Out crown that is the must visit place. Where famous folk come and spend quality family time with their little princes and princesses and have real fun, and we’ll even guarantee sending them home tired, but happy. Hopefully giving you a little adult time in the evening when they are fast asleep!
It is no surprise that the park has been nominated for a 2022 ‘VisitEngland Welcome’ accolade – how worthy! And the park’s successes only mean more fun next year as the siblings re-invest furiously, we hope they appreciate that their efforts have impacted thousands of children and families over the years – now that’s an accolade!
Dogs are not able to come into the park, but there are two spacious kennels at the entrance, first come, first served…
