I know when I have made the most out of 68 pages of adventures, fine dining, live music, sports, hotels and travel as I feel a sense of loss when I finish writing them!
What a magazine it is this year, I have noticed a real sea change in attitudes towards publicity and a revived sense of pride in all the areas of leisure that I have covered. There is a new energy around the business of hospitality, tourism and innovation, that I trust you will feel as you read the following features and enjoy your leisure time.
Please join me in welcoming my new partner, Pure Michigan, I will be working with this stunning American state, majestic in the Great Lakes, over the coming months to bring you more of what it has to offer everyone; lakes like oceans and huge outdoor spaces for hiking, climbing and skiing, Detroit which boasts unrivalled hospitality is home to the 12-acre Ford Museum and Wright brothers’ bicycle shop, and it is the birth town of Motown! So, be prepared to be drawn to the Upper Mid-West for your next overseas adventure!
It isn’t the end of the fun for me of course once this magazine is in circulation, quite to the contrary, as I continue to review, photograph and film many more attractions, restaurants, hotels, countries and sporting challenges throughout the year. The Enjoy-It website and socials are very agile as I travel to, talk with, write about and repeat! How lucky am I to have
such a responsibility!
