The Lower Peninsula has a myriad of unique towns and open roads. Bridging the two is the astonishing Mackinac Island, where the good folks know how to reduce blood pressure, having removed mechanised transport from the Island in 1901! Visitors can relax on what is reputedly the longest wooden porch in the world while sipping cocktails and watching the sun go down over the Straights of Mackinac.
The list of wonder is endless in Michigan with places
like Traverse City, and its amazing wine, Holland, Ann Arbor and Grand Haven, there is much to learn from this stunning state!
