DUCATI BOURNEMOUTH REVS UP FOR A GREAT FIRST SEASON
Ducati brings a destination store to Dorset, one dedicated to the revered iconic Italian motorcycle brand.
Located in Ferndown, Dorset, the 7000 sq. ft Ducati Bournemouth store offers the full range of new Ducati motorcycles and Scrambler Ducati as well as pre-owned sales, official apparel, parts and accessories, a state-of- the-art workshop and on-site cafe.
The Dorset store opening coincided perfectly with the ‘start of the season weekend’, allowing eager visitors not only to be the first to see inside the much-anticipated store, but also to be among the first to see the latest 2023 model range!
There was also a nod to Ducati’s illustrious history with a John Hackett prepared GSE Racing 916, ridden by Troy Bayliss in 1998 BSB Championship, making a guest appearance alongside the new models.
John Piper, Brand Manager for Ducati Bournemouth said; “We have been overwhelmed with the positive response and level of interest since we first announced we were opening. To see so many people here when we opened the doors, was quite something. Now we just need to get riding!”
The Ducati Bournemouth showroom will host events and an annual calendar of superb ride outs with routes designed to make the most of the stunning Dorset scenery, with coffee and cake awaiting back at the cool on-site café for refuelling.
Within a week of opening the team took part in the global We Ride As One event, with local Ducati owners joining a ride to Sandbanks, over the chain ferry, along Studland and back through the beautiful Purbecks in a fantastic and famous circuit.
While the new store is large, the Ducati Bournemouth team is relatively small with just 10 employees looking after service, sales and the café. John added: “We are
a small team, and we are riders and all enthusiasts of Ducati, so customers will be able to get to know us all and be reassured that we are as passionate about their bikes as they are. We aim to deliver an exceptional level of service in all areas of the business.”
Ducati Bournemouth will be open all week throughout the year, apart from Mondays.
