split-level garden, the home has plenty of outside space for the lovely residents to enjoy. In the summer months by the fishpond, under the pergola, with many of the bedrooms opening out onto the garden.
The residents live their very best life’s over three floors and are looked after by a consistent and loving team, and in our experience the comfort of seeing the same familiar faces every day is a game changer for us and those with dementia, Parkinson’s and other conditions that prohibit independence at home – and what Lilliput House does so well is promote continued independence, in its safe and loving environment.
There is daily entertainment – singers, bands, dancers, miniature horses, goats, crafts, baking, yoga and quizzes all for the taking. There are quiet areas for families to
join their loved ones for coffee and chats, and guests
are welcome morning, noon and night. The food is marvellous and if there is an excuse for a party – there’ll be one! There is a hair salon on the second floor, so everyone looks their best. And traditions are held with great regard as each resident is treated with the personal respect and dignity that they all deserve.
And to reassure you, we know that all the residents are happy – particularly one, she really is happy, and that would be my beloved Mum – Happy!
