Richard and Paru Edwards run a welcoming and expert business in Dorset. I have known partner, Mr. Edwards, for a number of years and trust him and the team implicitly. He and his partner, (and wife), Paru operate from a prime location in Parkstone, in Poole, Dorset. The clinic is homely, yet smart and modern and is run with precision.

styled like the bow of a yacht, which naturally reflects the affinity the partners have with sailing, in front of which one can relax before an appointment in the bright waiting area, and chat with the friendly receptionists
– many of whom rotate as dental nurses for any of the three dentists who work alongside two hygienists that complete the team in the three-surgery practice.

You could be like me and have been lucky with your teeth, and obsessively looked after them, so it is with reassurance that any appointment with Mr. Edwards starts with a full oral examination, and cancer check – something that I was impressed to hear on my first visit many years ago. Each of the dentists specialise in various disciplines; Mr. Edwards specialises in cosmetic dentistry, having trained in New York, his expertise covers crown and bridge work, root canal treatment, cosmetic veneers and professional tooth whitening.
Paru has specialised in maxillofacial and oral surgery, and now offers dental implantology and children’s treatments.
Dr Gema Bettley-Smith is the third dentist,
and is known as the ‘gentle dentist’, (this clearly is no reflection
on either Richard or Paru’s chairside manner!) and has been with the practice since 2012.
