SWIM SECURE – MAINSTREAM, SEA AND LAKE!
Swim Secure’s brilliant tow floats have been part of my swim kit since 2015, and as the popularity of open water swimming has boomed so have the sales of the company’s range of visibility, safety and stowage floats and dry bags.
One could compare the normalisation of these visibility floats with the evolution of the bicycle helmet – it’s just the norm now, isn’t it? It’s a smart decision to put safety first and anyone swimming without a float is not only taking a chance personally but putting other water users at risk as well.

I have a favourite in the Donut Tow Float – I can stash my phone and keys in the middle dry bag, it’s ideal. There is the Hydration Float which I have used a lot this season
carrying my calorie packed hot drink while training
for the English Channel Relay. There are a number of inflatable dry bags, and the Tow Woggle – which can
be used for learner as a traditional noodle and then as their confidence and technique improves it doubles as a tow float – those brilliant folk and Swim Secure think of everything.
