Dining, Writing & Photography Critique Masterclasses 2020

Have you ever wanted to be a published journalist – or perhaps you are a student, keen photographer or foodie?

Then the ‘Harbour Masterclass’ is for you, and the perfect gift! We have got together with Rick Stein Sandbanks, Brasserie Blanc in Bournemouth and Harbour Shallows luxury apartment to create one day, and one or two-night fun, yet academic photography, writing and publishing courses! At the end of your chosen Masterclass, you will have your words and pictures published here on the Enjoy-It website and on our socials!

Day Courses

There are several choices of one-day course which will include welcome Champagne, briefing, lunch or tasting*, critique and images, review and assessments plus published material of either: Rick Stein Sandbanks – Brasserie Blanc Bournemouth – Wine Tasting – Gin Tasting. *The tastings are accompanied by sharing platter lunch

Residential Courses

Day 1

3pm – arrival to Harbour Shallows luxury apartment overlooking Poole Harbour for a briefing and glass of Champagne
6pm – transfer to Rick Stein or Brasserie Blanc for a 3-course dinner, kitchen tour, and all to be reviewed by you and food images (i-Phone, Canon EOS or Smartphone) to be taken by both guests, under guidance from Enjoy Editor and photographer Zoe
10.30pm –  transfer back to Harbour Shallows for overnight stay

Day 2

9.30am – relaxed breakfast and review composition tutorial over coffee – time to compose a 500-word review and edit photographs (i-Phone, Canon EOS or Smartphone) of the delicious food from the dining experience under Zoe’s guidance
1pm – final critique and discussions in terms of media requirements, student results and what work of yours will go live on the Enjoy website and magazine
2pm – EITHER depart OR
3pm – Wine, Gin or Chocolate tasting – connoisseurs tasting giving insights into tasting tips of four finest wines, gin or chocolate – depending on attendees taste
5pm – the evening to yourselves

Day 3

Relaxing breakfast – depart at 11am

One-day critique (min four, max six guests) 10am-3pm = £189pp

The residential course is constructed for two, the accommodation allows for a luxury double room in Harbour Shallows overlooking Poole Harbour and there is a double sofa bed if you would like to bring your bestie, Mum or Dad instead of your partner.

There is plenty of parking at Harbour Shallows, a luxury one-bedroom fully furnished, romantic and highly specified 5-star holiday apartment, adjacent to the infamous Sandbanks peninsula.

The views from the apartment are quite stunning and arguably the best in the country…

And you can bring your dog – we can find some canine treats to taste so no one misses out!
